'Wen', misspelt on purpose since about 2017, marks the question as a joke that also expects an answer. 'Wen token' is its most productive form. It has been asked of exchanges, wallets, bridges and, at least once, a weather app.
Wen Token
The airdrop beg. Posted under every announcement by a project that has not yet issued a token, and under many that never will: 'wen token' asks when the free coins are coming, and its tone is somewhere between a joke and a demand. The phrase became so standard that projects began replying to it before it was asked. It is the trenches' version of a customer asking when the shop opens.

I have typed it under posts by companies I did not use, in the hope of a token I would have sold immediately. The record notes this is not a confession so much as a description of the year 2024.
