Half the disagreement in this thread is between people defining Delulu by what it meant in 2022 and people defining it by what it meant at its peak. Both are right. Neither is the current meaning.
Not quite what the headnote says. Delulu was never really about the thing itself — it was a way of showing you were in the room when it happened. The meaning was the membership.
I was on a dial-up connection when Delulu started going round, and the thing I remember is waiting for it to load, knowing it would be worth it, and being right. That combination has not happened to me since.
