Overheard: 'the model was glazing me so hard I thought I'd finally written something good'. The speaker was a professional writer. The record is not sure who was glazing whom.
Small fix: the peak year is right but the peak was shorter than a year — closer to six weeks. The rest of 2025 was people explaining it.
There was a version of Glazing that went round my family group chat about a month late, presented as new. I did not correct anyone. It was, for them, new, and that has to count for something.
