My first sighting was February 2026, in a reply from someone I have never met, and I understood it immediately. That is the closest thing to magic the internet still does.

The tell is the precision. Real facts are vague; the copypasta gives you the exact number of steps per kilowatt-hour. Precision is how a copypasta pretends to be an article.
