For whoever reads this in ten years: Data Broker arrived in 2013 and for about a month it was the only correct response to anything. Then it became a response to itself.
The record notes the broker knows your address, your car, your probable income and your 'life events', that you did not give them any of it, and that opting out is done one broker at a time.
