In May 2022 the founder known as Zagabond blogged about three earlier projects he had built and abandoned, and the floor fell by around half in a day. The June 2023 Elementals mint raised a reported $38 million in fifteen minutes and was criticised for looking like the original set.

The Zagabond post went round my chat at lunchtime. By dinner people who had never heard of the earlier projects had strong views on all three. That is the speed the record wants to preserve.
