My first encounter with LimeWire was a friend sending me a link with no explanation at all, which was the etiquette then. You did not say what it was. You said 'look' and let it happen to the person.
I remember LimeWire as the thing that made me realise other people were online at the same time as me. It was everywhere at once, on the same day, and that was new.
