The rabbit does not tell you what time it is. He tells you that it is later than you think. That distinction is why the image outlasted its trend.
Minor, but the record should note that White Rabbit Pointing at Clock predates the date most people give it. I have a post from May 2025 and I suspect there are earlier ones. Correcting the born field is above my pay grade.
Still alive: overheard White Rabbit Pointing at Clock used between two teenagers on a bus, neither of them explaining it to the other. That is the whole test and it passed.
