Posted in a work Slack every December since I joined, always by a different person, always with the words 'has anyone seen this'. The answer has been yes for eighteen years.
Twelve Days of Christmas (Straight No Chaser)
An a cappella group's arrangement of the carol that keeps derailing into other songs. Went viral in 2007 and led directly to the group being signed by Atlantic Records. The record's entry for a video that gets exhumed every December by people who forget they did it last year.

A seasonal object rather than a viral one. It does not stay in circulation; it returns on a schedule, which is a different and more durable kind of survival.

The footage is a college performance from years before it circulated. People date it to the year they first saw it, which for most of the internet was 2007.
