The record notes 'streamer mode' is now used by people who have never streamed to mean 'my parents are in the room', which is the same thing.
Overheard in a supermarket queue, Aug this year: a parent saying "Streamer Mode" to a toddler, entirely straight-faced. The toddler understood. I did not, for a second.
