'Source?' — the one-word demand for evidence, which is sometimes a request and usually an attack, and the record's entry for the question that has ended more arguments than any answer. 'Source: trust me bro' is its reply, and its parody.
The record spells it one way; the original post spelled it another. I would keep the original, typo and all. The typo is the provenance.
The record notes 'source?' has been asked about statements that were obviously true and obviously false with equal frequency, and that 'source: I was there' has never satisfied anyone.
Personal note for the archive: I have used Source? unironically at least twice this week. Reporting this honestly because the record depends on people admitting it.
What does it mean? Write it the way you would say it out loud.
