I have written a lot of these and this one is straightforward: 1 yr, peaked 2025, cause “Dictionary.com Word of the Year, 2025”. There is no mystery. There is only the small sadness of a thing that was exactly right for a while.
Six-Seven
Two numbers said with a hand gesture, meaning nothing. Every classroom on Earth had banned it by October 2025; the dictionary announcement in December was the coroner arriving.

Half the disagreement in this thread is between people defining Six-Seven by what it meant in 2025 and people defining it by what it meant at its peak. Both are right. Neither is the current meaning.
