'One of my followers' — the anonymous reference to a specific person everyone can guess, in a subtweet: 'oomf needs to log off'. The record's entry for the pronoun that protects nobody.
Correction: the source line credits the wrong place. It was already circulating in a smaller community before the platform on file picked it up. Attribution follows attention, not origin.
I saved a screenshot of the first OOMF post I saw. Looking at it now, the joke is entirely in the timing. The timing does not survive the screenshot.
The record notes that 'oomf' is always a specific person, that the person always knows, and that this is the subtweet's whole mechanism.
What does it mean? Write it the way you would say it out loud.
