'Mood' — a caption meaning 'this is how I feel', on a picture of a raccoon in a bin — and 'big mood' for the same feeling, larger. The record's entry for the noun that replaced 'same', and for the raccoon, which was everyone.

The record notes 'mood' is the 2016 'relatable' and the 2018 'same', and that the internet has three words for 'me too' and uses them by generation.

Correction @modemhum · Archivist 6 Dec 2018

Correction: the source line credits the wrong place. It was already circulating in a smaller community before the platform on file picked it up. Attribution follows attention, not origin.

Live specimen. A brand account used Mood in a reply to a customer complaint. The complaint was about a delivery. The customer did not reply.
