A producer tag — the spoken credit a beatmaker drops at the start of a track — that escaped the track. Its appearance on Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 turned it into a Vine and meme cue, generally over somebody producing a weapon. The record's entry for a credit line used as a sound effect.
Logged at a house party in 2017: the tag played, and four separate people said the second half of it out loud before the beat came in. None of them were talking to each other.
A producer tag is a signature, not a lyric. This one became the most quoted line on a record it does not otherwise appear on, which is an odd thing for a signature to do.
The line is not sung by the credited artist on the song. It is the producer's tag, voiced by someone else again, and dropped in as a stamp of authorship.
