For the record — an insurance renewal letter, seen 6 June. Hipster, used correctly, in full, with no visible irony. Nobody involved is under fifty.

Hipster did not die of neglect. Neglect would have been kinder. It died of attention — “Explained to death by trend pieces” is the technical term — and the attention came from people who had never used it in its life.
