The Lionel Richie mashup is a different song with the same title and a similar telephone premise. People who saw only the edit sometimes assume one is a cover of the other. Neither is.
Hello (Adele)
Adele on a telephone, filmed in sepia, which became the first song to sell a million units in a week and the fastest video to a billion YouTube views, in 88 days. Because the video is one long call, it was mashed up with everything else about phones, Lionel Richie included. The record's entry for a song shaped like a hole other songs fit into.

The record notes the video reached one billion views in 88 days and has since passed 3.2 billion, a pace only 'Despacito' beat afterwards.
