Filed from a phone screen on a bus, where a teenager watched fourteen versions in a row, each with a different arrest. The song never got past the first eight bars.
Baby I'm Yours
A 2010 disco-pop song by Breakbot that became the soundtrack for a specific remix format: a clip of someone being caught, arrested or otherwise ambushed, cut to the song and to Paul Bremer's 2003 line 'Ladies and gentlemen, we got him'. Widely used on YouTube in 2018 for FBI-raid jokes and ligma punchlines. The record's entry for a song that is now mostly a sound effect.

The format is always the same: someone says something they should not, the frame freezes, the song starts, the door is kicked in. The subject is usually a child, a pet or a person who has just asked what ligma is.
Breakbot did not write the song for the meme. It came out in 2010 and sat unbothered for the better part of a decade before the remixes found it; most people who can hum the intro have never heard the second verse.
