In mid-October, flower specialists from the nation over filled each alcove and crevice of a deserted house in Detroit with American-developed new blossoms and living plants for a weekend-long establishment that pulled in more than three thousand guests.
Blossom House was made by Lisa Waud, who says she was motivated by the substantial scale works of art of Christo and Jeanne-Claude and a 2012 runway show by Raf Simons for Christian Dior.
